Privacy Policy

DiskTiles is designed to work entirely on your Mac. DiskTiles does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data.

Folder access

DiskTiles accesses only folders that you explicitly select using the macOS folder picker. It reads file and folder metadata, including names, paths, sizes, kinds, and modification dates, to create the treemap and item details shown inside the app.

DiskTiles requests read/write access to the selected folder. Write access is used only when you explicitly choose Move to Trash and confirm the action. DiskTiles does not modify file contents.

Data collection and retention

DiskTiles does not create user accounts, collect analytics, include advertising, track users, or transmit scanned file information to the developer or third parties. Scanned information is processed locally and is not retained by the developer.

Network access and third parties

DiskTiles does not require a network connection and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Changes to this policy

If DiskTiles’ privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are released.
